Emily Ratajkowski Just Got the ‘Worst Haircut’ of Her Life
Emily Ratajkowski just lived through what many of us fear most: a haircut gone wrong. The model took to TikTok on Wednesday, March 26, to debut her new look—complete with some very questionable bangs. “Story time. Yes, I have a filter on because I have the worst haircut of my life and I need to feel pretty. OK, let’s go,” Ratajkowski said in the video.
The video opened with Ratajkowski rocking a middle part, before cutting to her dramatic transformation. “Oh, you thought I was gonna be funny?” Ratajkowski said, fluffing her blunt, uneven bangs that nearly covered her eyes. But it doesn’t stop there. “I have bangs on the back of my head,” Ratajkowski continued, giving the camera a tour of her new look. “Is it giving member of the D.A.R.E.? Is it giving Karen O.? Is it giving Italian?” she added. Despite hating the ‘do, Ratajkowski made it clear she doesn’t blame the stylist, calling him a “nice man” and suggesting he was aiming for a “British shag” look. “The main thing is, it’s not me, you know?” she shared.
On a more positive note, Ratajkowski revealed she can easily “hide” the disaster by tucking the fringe behind her ears when parted down the middle. But, if the “wind hits,” Ratajkowski will have a problem. In a follow-up video shared later, Ratajkowski tried to style the bangs by adding curls, only to quote Fleabag while assessing the results. “Tell the truth. It’s horrendous,” she mouthed before answering herself, “It’s modern!”
Ratajkowski’s famous friends tried to hype her up in the comments with Dylan Mulvaney writing, “It’s growing on me I think” as Amelia Gray Hamlin added, “No cause like it’s hot still.”
