Kris Jenner at the 2024 Met Gala

Kris Jenner just ditched her signature pixie. The Kardashian family matriarch showed off a bold new look via Instagram, and it has fans comparing her to her daughters Khloé and Kim Kardashian.

Jenner debuted the look ahead of a wedding, revealing a slicked-back wet-style bob that falls just below her chin—quite the departure from her usual spiky crop. It appears she added some pieces to take her mane from a pixie to a bob. The most standout aspect of the look was perhaps the single tendril that was styled into a swirl on Jenner’s forehead. For the occasion, she paired her new ‘do with a dramatic black velvet gown that featured a statuesque silhouette and sharp shoulders. Jenner accessorized with a sparkly clutch and posed with Khloé, who looked like her mirror image with a matching bob. Khloé, who has been rocking the cut since January, also wore hers wet and slicked back. Instead of black, she went with a strapless, figure-hugging red gown and a coordinating clutch and lip. Kim, meanwhile, went in a different direction, rocking a Bridgerton-esque slip dress and a sleek “clean girl” bun.

Jenner’s famous friends and fans praised her new look in the comments section with Anastasia Beverly Hills founder, Anastasia Soare, writing, “Looking young and restless.” One fan gushed, “Why are you both Khloe and Kim at the same time” while another added, “For a minute I thought it was Kim dressed like Kris.”

Jenner’s hair makeover marks her first in what feels like two decades. Whenever she steps out, you can count on her to be rocking her jet-black pixie that features layers and volume. Sure, there was the time she wore a blonde wig for the 2019 Met Gala, or went longer to channel Jackie O in 2022—but this is a rare real departure.
