‘I’m Lindsay Lohan’s Hairstylist & These Are the Non-Negotiable Products I Use to Style Her Iconic Hair’

We are living through the Lindsay Lohanaissance, and as a nostalgic millennial, I am loving every minute of it. Lindsay Lohan is the new Queen of Christmas movies, starring in Netflix holiday bangers like Irish Wish and Falling for Christmas, but she’s made it pretty clear that her comeback doesn’t just stop there. Coming to theaters August 8, Lohan is starring in the sequel to Freaky Friday, Freakier Friday.

To promote the film, Lohan attended the premiere on July 22 in Los Angeles, where she wore her hair in a Hollywood classic wave which dreamily complemented her soft glam makeup and baby pink, bejeweled dress.

This isn’t the first time Lohan has wowed us with her stunning mane. The actress has been known for her vibrant strands for decades, whether she’s rocking her natural copper-tone, or bright blonde. You literally will not find Lohan with in-between salon treatment hair, and that’s partially thanks to her amazing haircare routine.

We were lucky to speak with celeb hairstylist Danielle Priano, who styled Lohan’s hair for the Freakier Friday premiere last night. Luckily, she didn’t hold back (no hair full of secrets here!), and spilled the beans on the exact products she used to ensure Lohan’s hair stunned.

StyleCaster (SC): What about the products do you like, specifically for Lindsay’s hair?

Danielle Priano (DP): Maintaining luminous, healthy-looking blonde is a non-negotiable, especially for someone constantly in the spotlight like Lindsay. I rely on Schwarzkopf’s BlondMe Care range because it delivers everything I need to keep her color vibrant, fresh, and camera-ready. The Bond Repair Purple Spray Conditioner and Bond Repair Sealing Balm are two of my must-haves — they enhance brightness and tone without compromising the integrity of her color or weighing her hair down. Whether we’re under flashing lights or natural sun, her blonde looks clean and radiant.

SC: Can you break down why you used each product?

DP: My process always starts with a healthy base, so I began by washing her hair with Schwarzkopf’s BLONDME Bond Repair Nourishing Shampoo  and accompanying conditioner  to deeply hydrate and strengthen the hair — essential for maintaining the integrity of blonde tones while prepping for heat styling and extensions.

To build in volume, I applied OSiS+ Upload Bodifying Cream at the roots, which gave just the right amount of lift without stiffness. Through the mid-lengths and ends, I worked in BLONDME Bond Repair Sealing Balm  — one of my must-haves for smoothing the cuticle, taming frizz, and protecting the hair during hot tool styling.

I then clipped in Remi Cachet’s Deluxe Clip-In 20” Extensions in shade #16/60, which are a go-to for me thanks to their lightweight feel and seamless blend with natural hair. They add fullness and length without any bulk, which is key for soft, brushed-out waves.

After styling with a large-barrel curling iron and brushing out the curls for that relaxed red carpet finish, I added a few drops of OSiS+ Glow Shine Serum to the ends and layered in a touch of BLONDME Bonding Oil for extra luminosity. The combination gave Lindsay’s waves that ultra-glossy, light-reflective finish — polished, never greasy.

SC: What kind of hair is this line best for?

DP: With someone like Lindsay, whose hair is always front and center, color protection is everything.
