We head to Zara for basic white tees and sequin party dresses and maybe even a lipstick or mascara. Now, the retailer is coming for our hair, too. Zara tapped renowned hairstylist Guido Palau to launch the Zara Hair Holiday Set, the first drop with much more to come. One of Palau’s clients, budding supermodel Kaia Gerber, helped him roll out the holiday-ready Glitter in Gold collection.
Zara and Palau’s first hair set features two gold-themed styling products, Gold Gel and Gold Glitter Spray, and two accessories, Gold Bobby Pins and the Gold Comb. It’s bold, glittery, and fun — makeup for your hair, in fact. It seems like the Y2K trend of glitter hair is back with a vengeance. If anyone can bring it back, it’s Zara.
In a teaser video, Gerber and the hairstylist joke around about their past together. “Every time I’ve made a rash decision to cut my hair it’s been with you. And you’ve done it for me,” Gerber says. “And you’ve talked me out of really bad ones, too.” Gold glitter hair is not one of those bad decisions. She looks incredible with the products just dabbed onto her slicked-back strands.
The set just launched today and is sure to sell out.

The set contains: Give Me Glitter Hair Make-Up Spray, an ultra-fine shine hair mist inspired by highlighter you’d wear on your face; Give Me Gold Hair Make-Up Gel, a liquid hair make-up gel with a white gold finish; the Styling Brush, a gold brush with wide teeth for versatility; and a set of 12 hair pins meant to be worn as an accessory to your holiday ‘fit.
“I feel like clips are coming back,” Gerber says while slipping a few hair pins into her hair. “It’s very festive,” she says after seeing her gold glitter look. Go get your own at Zara now.
