Over the summer, I really stepped into my press-on nail era. Prior, I was always a little intimidated by press-ons, afraid they’d fall off randomly, look unrealistic on my small hands, or simply be difficult to apply. But after searching for ways to achieve a long-lasting manicure without having to routinely visit the salon (and ruin my nails with gel), I’ve really come to the conclusion that press-ons are incredibly convenient.
While you can opt to wear press-ons solely for special occasions, I like to rotate between different designs every couple of weeks to keep my nails looking fresh. ImPRESS Beauty has been my go-to brand lately because its nail sets offer a truly fuss-free process. I can quickly apply them (like while I’m watching Netflix), and they last longer than most other press-ons I’ve tried.
You may have heard that nail glue is absolutely essential for really securing press-ons, but in my experience, ImPRESS’s sticky adhesive is just as powerful on its own. Plus, not having to use nail glue takes some of the chaos out of the application process; you just have to peel the shield off the back of the nails, press them over top of your natural nail beds and you’re all set.
For my first go using ImPRESS Beauty nails, I wanted something neutral and chic. I chose the Connection set, which is a pinky nude ombre design. Each nail kit contains 30 varying nail sizes, a prep pad, mini nail file and a manicure stick for pushing back your cuticles. There were plenty of nail size options in the kit that fit my own nails, therefore I didn’t have to do too much filing or cutting to tailor them to perfection. Though take note, you can easily cut them down if you prefer shorter nails, a rounder-tip, and so on.

For my next set, I went with this super sparkly, milky white design that really glimmers underneath certain lighting.

After having these nails on for a week (and no budging in sight), I’m honestly quite impressed with their longevity. So much so, I might go so far as to say I’m not sure how I’ll get them off! If you’ve struggled to find press-ons that won’t pop off, I highly recommend giving ImPRESS a go. For just $11 a pack, you’l save so much money in the long run. Check out some other options I’ll be adding to my cart soon, down below.
