Cardi B’s New Bangs Are Scary Good

Cardi B has re-entered the fashion week arena. She attended the Mugler Spring Summer 2025 show in Paris today, and did you really think she was going to serve boring? No. The artist has cultivated an image that really aligns with Mugler, not to mention that she’s had the privilege of getting to wear some serious Mugler pulls over the years, so an Internet-breaking look was always in the cards. And this time, Cardi B showed up with the most serious bang situation.

The rapper rolled up with an almost cartoonish, kind of villainous, definitely edgy hair situation. The overall hair do was cropped to the head, with glossy, shiny bangs split down the middle, with a length that tapers shorter toward the edges of her face. It’s kind of the opposite of a curtain bang. The rest of her glam featured some seemingly natural makeup (we can’t really tell because the eyes were hidden by the bangs, obviously) and a statement black lip liner situation. She also appears to have a cheek piercing (possibly fake) on her left cheekbone.

The rest of her look consisted of a a two-piece black skirt suit of very Mugler proportions. A sharply exaggerated hip, swooping curved lines on both the skirt and down the lapel, and a shoulder that means it.

If you’re not totally clued in, Cardi is Mugler girl. It makes total sense for the vision of her public artist persona. The relationship really solidified when Cardi B wore an iconic archival Mugler couture gown to the Grammy’s in 2019.
