Joe Jonas, JoBro No More, Debuts Rainbow-Colored Hair

Since mid-2000s supergroup the Jonas Brothers disbanded in 2013, each JoBro has proven he’s really, totally capable of doing his own thing, and succeeding. Nick became a hot, buff actor and solo artist whose right it is to be hellish and jealous; Kevin got married, had a kid, and briefly joined the ranks of reality TV; and dark-eyed, raven-haired Joe—the original heartthrob of the three—decided to have some fun by aligning himself with the new faces of young Hollywood, dating Gigi Hadid for a bit, and joining DNCE, a pop-rock band whose earworm “Cake by the Ocean” surely has taken up residence in your head for the last three months.

Now, Joe’s asserting his newfound edge even more by debuting some bold rainbow-colored hair, following his brief stint with subtle teal last month. The 26-year-old posted his dye job on Instagram, captioning the snap 🍭—and his fans really seem to dig it. (“Slayyy, “BEAUTIFUL!” and “Cool la coiffure” are among the comments.)

Obviously, as women who have a great deal of curiosity around all things beauty, we can’t help but wonder whether JoeJo actually bleached his signature jet-black hair, or used last fall’s buzzy (and nondamaging!) oil-slick technique to achieve his multicolored mop.

Either way, we’ll do him a solid and fill him on our favorite DIY trick to condition and refresh newly colored hair at home. Bienvenido, Joe! And keep doing you.
