Skeptical is the best way to describe our reaction when we hear about a “must-have” range of products for curly hair. That’s not to say there aren’t any curl-friendly products we love—trust us, we have the overflowing vanities to prove otherwise. But anyone with curls will tell you that finding the right shampoos, conditioners, gels, and mouses to get their hair to its full potential, takes time, patience, and often a significant portion of one’s bank account. Thus, imagine our surprise when we tested out Bumble and bumble‘s new Bb.Curl line and were hooked after one wash and style. The six-product collection promises an “epic blend of control and chaos” for every texture on the curl spectrum—from waves and ringlets to spirals, coils and corkscrews. These are the products that gave us just that.

Bb.Curl Shampoo ($31, bumbleandbumble.com)
Made with a trio of Brazilian oils, this sulfate-free shampoo leaves hair clean but not stripped and straw-like, which is often the result with harsher formulas. If you’ve sworn off suds completely for fear of drying out your locks, know that it does lather but is packed with moisturizers to keep hair hydrated.

Bb.Curl Custom Conditioner ($34, bumbleandbumble.com)
We love a product that does more than one thing, and this one is a triple threat: It can be used as a co-wash for gentle cleansing, a moisturizing rinse-out conditioner after shampooing, or a leave-in to enhance softness and shine.

Bb.Curl Pre-Style/Re-Style Primer ($28, bumbleandbumble.com)
When spritzed on after washing, this detangler serves as light, nourishing base before styling with a gel or mousse. You can also use it on dry hair to revitalize and separate curls on non-wash days.

Bb.Curl Anti-Humidity Gel-Oil ($34, bumbleandbumble.com)
So many gels are either too sticky, too heavy, or take too long to dry. Don’t expect any of those deal breakers when reaching for this. It obliterates frizz while sculpting and elongating curls. And like the rest of the line, it smells fantastic.
