Demi Lovato is, hands down, our favorite look of the night—this 1920s Marcel waved hairstyle, vampy red lipstick and blue smokey eyes really works for her.
Model, noted body glitter aficionado and T.Swift bestie Gigi Hadid debuted a sleek bob on the red carpet—and we are all about it.
Kendall Jenner debuted new bangs and a seriously sky-high topknot; Kylie looks basically the same as she always does, which is to say contoured to high heaven. Respect for the brow game, though.
It was a stellar night for topknots—Jennifer Lopez is rocking one of the chicest, fullest high buns we’ve ever seen.
On the big hair tip: Our Queen Gwen Stefani further embraced the mod theme she’s been working lately with this upswept bouffant, dark eye makeup and nude lips. She’s like a ’60s dream come to life.
But it wasn’t just the girls who were going in hard on the fabulous hair; Joe Jonas debuted a turquoise streak that has us reaching for the hair dye.
Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson paired her darker blonde locks with nude lips and a subtle brown smokey eye. We love the combination of feminine makeup with the sleek androgyny of her suit.
Nicki Minaj is perfect; the sharpness of her cat eye, the flawlessness of her red nails and the sleekness of her hair only confirms this belief.
Julianne Hough’s interestingly layered hairstyle gives us ’90s zig-zag part flashbacks in the best possible way.
And on the subject of the ’90s, Alicia Silverstone was there, rocking this sideswept style and looking like a total Betty.

And Hailee Steinfeld rocked another totally major dramatic dark eye.
Kat Graham served the most unique eye makeup of the night: neon yellow at the inner corners, fading into metallic purple at the outside. Amazing!
