We can always count on Miranda Lambert to steal the show on any red carpet, especially when it comes to the annual Country Music Association Awards. The beloved country crooner scored four awards at the ceremony, and hit the ball out of the part with her performance alongside Meghan Trainor. However, what we really want to talk about is the three different looks the songstress showed off over the course of the event, from her red carpet walk to accepting the award of Female Vocalist of the Year. Pureology Artistic Ambassador Sandra Joseph shared her step-by-step instructions on how to snag each and every one of Miranda’s looks, which were executed by celebrity hairstylist Johnny Lavoy.

For the classic Hollywood glam look Miranda sported on the red carpet, Joseph recommends applying a small amount of Pureology Strength Cure Fabulous Lengths, a heat-protective fortifying serum, to damp hair from roots to ends. Then, mix a bodifying mousse with a shine-enhancing gel and blow-dry with a medium round brush for volume and bounce. Curl the hair with a 3/4-inch iron, pinning the curls with prong clips and allowing them to cool before releasing. Create a deep side part and brush through the curls with a soft bristle brush, then smooth the right side behind your ear and secured with pins. Smooth the top of the hair with a medium hold hair wax, then use the same wax to give the ends of the hair a piecey look.

For Miranda’s cool textured bob, Joseph recommends applying a root-lifting spray throughout the hair for grip. Roughly blow-dry with your fingers to create volume and separation, then use a 1-inch iron to curl random pieces of the hair. To loosen the curls, rake through the hair with your fingers while applying a hair fiber paste for definition. Back-comb underneath the layers of hair with your fingers to give added lift and fullness, then finish with a strong-hold hairspray to keep the look in place.

Miranda’s final look of the night was a smooth, straight bob, which Joseph recommends achieving by misting damp hair with Pureology Colour Fanatic. Apply two pumps of a shine-enhancing gel throughout the hair for smoothness and shine, then wrap dry hair around a paddle brush. Starting from the bottom and working upward, take 1/2-inch panels of hair and flat iron, then finish off the look with a mist of hairspray for light hold.
