Glossier’s dewy, skin-first approach was pretty much a perfect match for Olivia’s aesthetic—and she would go on to sport a full face of the brand’s products at the 2022 Grammys and release her own limited-edition products (which were of course packaged in her signature purple color). Olivia’s collab with Glossier was a huge success, and Livies were beyond excited to use the same products as her. But now, Olivia is taking on a more sophisticated vibe with Lancôme.
Lancôme has always been synonymous with high-end beauty. To most stans, Lancôme’s vibe might seem like a sharp contrast to Olivia’s. But actually, Lancôme already rebranded their Instagram to match Olivia’s signature shade of purple. In addition to spelling out “Olivia” with their story highlights (such a cute touch), the brand even changed its profile picture to combine Olivia’s butterfly logo with their iconic rose motif.
It seems like the French beauty brand wants to tap into Olivia’s Gen Z fanbase. And as much as we loved Olivia x Glossier, this collaboration feels like the perfect evolution for Olivia’s career. Even though no one knows for sure what the duo has in store for us, we couldn’t be more excited for this new era of Lancôme. With Olivia’s it girl energy and Lancôme’s classic French glamour, the duo is bound to make waves in the beauty world.
