With so many new blushes popping up, I’m constantly on the hunt for the perfect one. Thanks to beauty icons like Sabrina Carpenter, blush is all the rage, so there’s no shortage of new blushes to test out and obsess over. But when it comes time to settle on one, the endless options only make the decision seem impossible. To make things even worse, you also have to decide on liquid, cream, powder, or something in between. In the sea of TikTok-viral blushes, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Blurring Serum Liquid Blush jumped out to me—and after adding it to my routine, my daily makeup looks have never been the same.
If you were a makeup lover back in the 2010s, you might recognize Anastasia Beverly Hills for its cult-favorite brow products and beloved highlighter palettes. I was once a victim to blocky ombre brows, so I can say I’ve tried a few of the brand’s products. But, when I first heard about the Blurring Serum Liquid Blush, I was shocked to find out ABH was behind it. As a cool-toned blush enthusiast, a good shade range is at the top of my list of priorities when it comes to shopping for a new blush. So, when I saw the serum blush came in a gorgeous baby pink shade, I knew I had to get my hands on it. Lucky for me, the formula was just as (if not more) dreamy than the shade options were.

As someone with sensitive skin, I have to admit that the thought of a “serum-enriched” blush did scare me at first. When it comes to skincare, I tend to be pretty cautious about implementing new products into my routine. But to my surprise, ABH’s Blurring Serum Blush didn’t irritate my skin in the slightest. Not only did I really enjoy the serum-inspired packaging, I noticed that the blush melted into my skin beautifully thanks to the niacinamide. I always assumed my makeup products were responsible for breaking me out, so it’s definitely a relief to know my new favorite blush contains the ingredients I know my skin loves.
I always disliked having to stick my fingers into a product to apply it, and the application of the ABH Serum Blush is way more straight forward. Whether you decide to squeeze the product directly on to your cheeks, or on to your fingers first—you never have to worry about wasting product because of the convenient applicator. I also found the product super blendable, which was a huge relief after I’ve encountered so many patchy liquid blushes in the past. If you’re a blush beginner, this is the perfect easy-to-use product.
After blending out the blush with a sponge, I noticed the blurring quality right away. My problematic skin texture is always on the back of my mind, but the ABH blush made all of those worries fade away. Not only did my cheeks look airbrushed, the pigmentation was also undeniable. For once, the blush looked just as pretty on my skin as does it in the bottle. I tend to favor cool-toned blushes for their brightening quality, and this baby pink shade was the ideal choice.
As for staying power, I never have to worry about touching up my cheeks when I’m wearing the ABH Blurring Serum Liquid Blush. I honestly don’t know if it’s the skincare-like formula or how pigmented it goes on, but it seriously doesn’t budge. Even in the sweaty summer months, I never once noticed my blush wearing off throughout the day. On the other hand, this blush has been my go-to in the winter months too, as it gives my cheeks the natural flush I need when my skin’s looking dull. So consider giving it a try, even if you’re not a blush girly—the Anastasia Beverly Hills Blurring Serum Liquid Blush might just turn you into one.
