Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick is a go-to long-lasting lipstick formula with a creamy matte finish and celebrity-obsessed following from the likes of Olivia Culpo, Emma Roberts, and Amal Clooney. And, while it’s touted as one of the best lipsticks probably ever, we just found a Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk dupe from the cult-favorite Japanese beauty brand, Shu Uemura, that is so much more hydrating and lasts even longer than its more expensive counterpart.

This Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick Dupe Is *So* Hydrating
Shu Uemura Kinu Care Nudes Taupe Touch
The Shu Uemura Kinu Care Nudes Taupe Touch is a blend between a balm and a lipstick and is formulated with lots of skin-softening and nourishing ingredients including tsubaki totum—the Japanese camellia flower known for its moisturizing benefits—squaline, ceramides, and glycerin. It’s also enriched with the brand’s care-in-color complex, which targets multiple layers of the lip for deeper and longer-lasting hydration (we’re talking, like, eight hours of hydration… that’s better than some of our favorite lip balm formulas).

With so much nourishment, the Shu Uemura lipstick can also reduce flakiness, improve texture, and some women have even reported less noticeable fine lines around the lips. And since it’s so hydrating with more of a balm texture, the lipstick doesn’t have the same creamy matte finish and is instead errs on the side of creamy and glossy. It’s also available in 10 different shades, including some more neutral everyday options and brighter peaches, magentas, pinks, and reds for a fun pop of color that looks gorgeous on any skin tone.
