When it comes to makeup, I always take a skin-first approach and, TBH, am not the biggest fan of anything that isn’t tinted moisturizer, blush, eyebrow gel, and maybe a swipe of mascara. I’m especially picky when it comes to foundations and concealers, as those often make me feel like I have a layer of paint on my face (even the most lightweight foundations tend to bother me).

This foundation took the brand two years to formulate, and it was created with real skin tones in mind, so you can find something that will actually match your complexion. Since the foundation is so hydrating and has a solid cream formula, it glides onto the skin without tugging, settles into the skin but doesn’t have that drying effect, and is easy to blend in with a brush (or your fingertips if you’re a lazy makeup girly like me). I swiped it across my complexion, letting it sit for a few minutes before blending, and it was still just as easy to achieve good coverage with minimal effort. 

For the small amount of product I applied—just a couple of swipes on my cheeks, one across my forehead, and a dab on my chin—I was impressed by how much surface area I could cover. Even with daily application, it would take quite some time to get to the bottom of this stick foundation, making it an excellent value, too.
