Found: The Amazing Brownish Berry Lipstick Jennifer Lawrence Wore Last Night
Sure, we’re excited for the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, but we’re just ever so slightly more interested in Jennifer Lawrence‘s red-carpet presence. The charismatic star may be a self-proclaimed jeans-and-T-shirt girl (is she really, though?) in her daily life, but her gussied-up looks are always spectacular—and decidedly not couch potato–friendly.
True to form, J. Law killed it at last night’s U.K. premiere of the film. Gorgeous dress, sleek platinum bob, great brows, a major cheekbone-chiseling contour situation: On. Point. A Dior girl through and through, the brand’s fave face was made up in all Dior everything, but we immediately zeroed in on that standout, perfectly-on-trend brownish berry lip color.
We weren’t the only ones: “The look was really all about that lip,” said celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, who used Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick in Brun Samarcande 434 ($35). A smart move, given the fact that not only is the shade perfect for getting the ’90s beauty vibe we’re so obsessed with right now, but it also looks amazing on Jen, especially with the bright blonde.
Better still, we’d hazard a guess that this is the kind of color that flatters everyone, not just beautiful superstar Jennifer Lawrence. We wouldn’t be surprised if it sells out in a snap … or if we spot it on her rumored BFF Amy Schumer next week.
