We're Dying Over Emma Stone's Latest Red Carpet Look

We don’t know Emma Stone personally, but there is one thing we can say about her for sure: the girl knows how to work a red carpet. Each and every one of her appearances leaves us with a little bit more hair envy, a little bit more brow shape-coveting, a little bit more panicked about how badly we need to wear sunscreen…

Last night, Emma showed up in LA for the red carpet premiere of “Irrational Man.” We’re looking forward to seeing the movie for sure (if only because Emma and Joaquin Phoenix both get an eternal yes from us), but who can even think about paying $15 on a movie ticket when we can put that towards snagging Emma’s gorgeous red carpet look instead?

Emma’s go-to girl, celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, drew inspiration from the actress’s seasonally on point white mid-length gown. She said, “I wanted Emma’s makeup to have a modern and fresh feeling with a surprising pop of color,” just like the pale yellow embellishments on her dress. “I used a bright blue liner to create a graphic element to Emma’s eyes, which I offset by using a subtle pink on her lips for a hint of color that would complement the eye makeup without competing.”

And just in case you think that $15 you saved will hardly go a long way, think again. Rachel used REVLON products to create Emma’s look. For that lovely electric eye, she used REVLON PhotoReady Kajal Matte Eye Pencil in Matte Marine to sketch a V shape at the outer corners of Emma’s eyes—it’s a totally subtle, non-terrifying way to wear colored liner—and the perfect neutral lip comes courtesy of REVLON Ultra HD Lipstick in HD Primrose. Skip the movie, buy the makeup… or buy the makeup, see the movie later. Everybody wins.
