Lucy Hale Is Mark’s New Pretty Little Brand Ambassador

Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale has been named Mark’s new beauty brand ambassador, following in the footsteps of former Mark girls Lauren Conrad and Ashley Greene. The Avon-owned brand made the announcement today with a video featuring Hale, in which she reminisces about the role makeup has played in her early life.
“Growing up, while my grandmother was taking her nap I would go into her makeup drawer and I would put on her red lipstick. So I would be running around the house in a pink tutu and makeup all over my face,” the actress and singer says in the film. (Thankfully her look has evolved quite a bit since those early years.)
As brand ambassador, Hale will be appearing in Mark magalogs as well as Mark and Avon digital platforms. She’ll debut her campaign in Mark’s August’s Magalog, the official 10th Birthday issue for the brand.
“I’ve been a fan of Mark’s products for years, but it was important to me to work with a brand that is truly about beauty on the inside and the outside,” Hale said in a statement.
Along with appearing in advertising for the brand, Hale will be speaking on behalf of m.powerment campaign, Mark’s philanthropic effort to break the cycle of partner abuse and violence against young women.
Today’s a big day for Hale: Pretty Little Liars’ fifth season premieres tonight on ABC Family.
