Throughout this past year we have witnessed some risky beauty trends — from partly shaved heads to pink hair. But it seems that as we near 2013, even celebs known for their out-there images are taking a turn toward more natural beauty looks. Just look at this photo of Demi Lovato taken on set of The X Factor last night.

The singer — who has played with multi-colored tips, an extreme bouffant and super bold makeup — is now embracing her natural hair color, demure pink lipstick and blush, and a classic cat-eye. What we love about this look is that it’s still anything but boring. Demi even added a few fun details with a mustard yellow eye shadow and a funky diagonal/color blockedmani.
Demi hasn’t been the only one to ditch the crazy hair and makeup for a more glamorous look. Katy Perry and Ke$ha have been stepping out in more Hollywood-glamourous ensembles.

And even Lady Gaga has been opting to go more low-key (in her beauty choices, at least — there’s nothing low-key about this dress). We love the natural auburn hue she has been sporting.

So now who is going to break the news to Nicki Minaj that those crazy wigs just aren’t cutting it anymore? We look forward to seeing what these ladies step out in at the Grammys next year!
