As a 35-year-old shopping editor and skincare nerd, I’ve been there so many times. Even though I’ve invested a lot of time and bathroom cabinet space, I’ve run into makeup mishaps in the form of random dry patches, piling, and uneven complexion—until I started regularly using toner.
