This Body Collection Turns Your Shower Into a Beach Vacation

Apart from the bronze glow and refreshing swims, the thing I love most about escaping to the shore is the smell—there’s something very calming and distinct about salty ocean air. Clearly I’m not the only one who feels this way because countless companies have attempted (and, in my opinion, failed) to bottle this scent and never quite do it justice. That is, until I came across Bobbi Brown’s Beach body collection.
I’m really picky about fragrance so I was skeptical when I first encountered the line, but it instantly transported me to those crashing waves. The clean, subtle, citrusy-floral scent is like a bouquet of flowers and beach air, and I swear I even get the faintest whiff of sunscreen. The products aren’t overly potent, but I also don’t feel like I need to apply perfume when I use them, either.

I’ve incorporated the shower gel ($35) and body lotion ($38) into my daily routine, and while the fragrance is what hooked me, I love how the products leave my skin feeling soft and nourished. The line also includes a body scrub ($38), a body oil ($33) and perfume ($74). Each item is on the pricier side, so I’ll be slowly adding them to my collection.
I’ll admit that nothing tops actually being at the beach, but using these products have at least made my daily showers feel more like a vacation. The experience is exactly what I need before I take on my subway commute—something that doesn’t always have the most pleasant odor in 90-degree weather.
