We even detected a hint of vanilla that makes us think of the most indulgent French pastries. Plus, the bottle? Beyond adorable.
Tom Ford, Noir Pour Femme ($80, Sephora)
Noir was originally a men’s fragrance that we’ve always been powerfully in love with—so imagine our excitement this fall when Tom Ford’s genius perfumers created a female version. The confident core of Noir remains—and the addition of some softer elements like jasmine, vanilla and a not-too-sweet rose makes this a cool weather classic for the woman who likes her fragrance sexy, but never overdone.

If you’re a floral lover who doesn’t want to say goodbye to her petals come fall, Illicit is for you. This perfume is straight-up luxury in a bottle. At first whiff, you get a nose full of bright, sparkly lime—like sunrise through the changing leaves in your favorite park. This is balanced with deeper, richer notes of sandalwood, musk and a very restrained jasmine. Cashmere does feel like cashmere…it’s elegant, rich and warm, but also a lot of fun.

Nothing says ‘Fall fragrance’ quite like amber, and this beautiful scent has it in spades. Smelling like a vintage perfume in the best way possible, it opens strong with jasmine, pear and a subtle hint of licorice.
