If we had to pick this year’s real song of summer, it certainly wouldn’t be “Trap Queen.” No disrespect to Fetty Wap—his heartfelt anthem to true love and cooking crack is a real winner—but we think Abba’s “Cruel Summer” deserves the title more thanks to the sheer number of celebrity splits that have gone down in the last three months.
And we’re not talking about fickle celebrity romances either—we’re talking about the dissolution of beloved long-term couples like Gwen and Gavin, Jen and Ben, and Blake and Miranda. Hell, even Kermit dumped Miss Piggy after three decades.
