Niall Horan’s Brother ‘Heartbroken’ Over Liam Payne’s Death: ‘You Will Be Forever Missed’
They’re all family forever. Members of One Direction‘s family extended their condolences to Liam Payne after his death. Niall Horan‘s brother made a lengthy statement on Instagram showing support to his brother and his former bandmate.
Liam Payne died at the age of 31. The former One Direction member reportedly fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. “We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul,” his family said in a statement to PA Media, the U.K. and Ireland’s national news agency. “We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time.”
Just two weeks before his death, Liam attended Niall’s concert in the South American country. The two reunited, but Liam expressed some doubt before the moment. “I think we might just go and say hello,” he said in a Snapchat video on October 1. “It’s been a while since me and Niall have spoken. We’ve got a lot to talk about. And I would like to square up a couple of things with the boy. No bad vibes or anything like that. But just, um, we need to talk.”

Niall’s brother Greg Horan posted a tribute to the One Direction member on his Instagram. “I’m heartbroken is an understatement,” he wrote in the caption. “A weird feeling this morning and all night you were a top young boy to a man a son a brother you are only one of 4 lads I was happy enough to take my place in nialls life as a brother you will be forever missed Liam words can’t describe how much I want to grab my brother and mind him now while the world shows their memories of you and him and the boys.”
He continued, “my heart goes out to your family parents and sisters and your son Bear and your 1D brothers 10th October we met and we started out that evening as 5 families into one big one 1D family thank you for all the laughs bro watch down on the all your family and mind them lots of love kiddo x x x 1D 4 LIFE x x x ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
