Gisele Bündchen’s life is looking very different these days, and that means Tom Brady is going to have to adapt as well. The former couple, who share two kids, son Benjamin 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, are among the many divorced parents trying to figure out arrangements for their kids during the holidays.

Bündchen is now pregnant with her third kid with her new boyfriend Joaquim Valente, who was the jiu-jitsu instructor for her son Benjamin. The two were reportedly friends first and only confirmed their relationship in February 2024, though they reportedly started dating in June 2023, after Bündchen and Brady’s divorce in October 2022. At the time reports indicated Brady’s decision to announce his retirement from the NFL only to then change his mind was one of the main reasons for the split.

Though his ex has moved on after the divorce, there has been less on the romantic front for Brady, whose biggest news has been in the work department. Brady works as an NFL broadcaster for Fox Sports these days, a job that keeps him very busy and pays very, very well. His contract is worth a reported $375 million for 10 years, starting in 2022. Not NFL money, but not shabby at all and there’s a much lower chance of getting hurt.

With the holiday almost here, fans are wondering what Tom Brady’s Thanksgiving plans are. What are Gisele Bündchen’s plans? And where will their kids be? Here’s everything we know about how the two are navigating the holidays and making sure their kids get to spend time with both of them.

Brady will be working on Thanksgiving, because that’s the name of the game for everyone in the NFL, including players and broadcasters alike. He will be calling the Thanksgiving broadcast of the Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants game, which is set for Thursday at 4:30 PM ET. “He’s going to be calling the game for Fox that day and will be tied up with work,” an insider confirmed to Page Six about the former QB’s plans.

Meanwhile, “Gisele took the kids and headed to Costa Rica with Joaquim [Valente] to spend the holiday with each other,” the insider also told the outlet about Bündchen and the two kids she shares with Brady, adding that “Tom is supportive and that’s the arrangement he and Gisele have agreed upon.” It makes sense, considering Brady will be working and wouldn’t have been able to spend much time with his kids anyway.

However, the same insider made it clear that Brady will still “have plenty of time to spend with his children during the holiday season,” as the kids won’t remain in Costa Rica for too long.

What exactly Bündchen, Valente, and the kids will be up to in the Central American nation is unknown, but Bündchen has been known to visit Costa Rica often.
