Are they breaking up for real this time? Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have unfortunately called it quits again…weeks after her bold pregnancy announcement.

Megan Fox and MGK had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship. But despite it all, they seem to rise from the ashes to declare their love for each other. Megan Fox confirmed that she ended her engagement with Machine Gun Kelly in April 2024.“I could see them being confusing or interesting to people, and them being like, ‘What’s up?’” she described their relationship in the public sphere. “What I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption. So I think as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship per se.”

She continued, “What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a tether to him no matter what. I can’t say what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.” However, after reuniting, the relationship might be done for good.

Why did Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly break up?

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox broke up because Megan found material on MGK’s phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave their Thanksgiving trip early, according to TMZ. Sources told the gossip site that the ex-couple ended things over Thanksgiving weekend while they were together in Vail, Colorado.

According to a source, she “found text messages involving other women and decided she was done.”

He decided to look through “because of past behavior.” They’ve also had their ups and downs over the past few years, but she was willing to look past all that, the insider said. Megan wanted to “rebuild her trust with Colson and was excited to grow their family together,” the source explains.

On November 11, 2024, Megan Fox announced her pregnancy with a bold and one-of-a-kind Instagram post. The New Girl actress wiped her Instagram feed and posted a photo of her covered in a black oily and gooey substance while holding her baby bump and another photo of a pregnancy test with the text “YES.” She captioned the post, “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back 👼🏼❤️” which refers to Machine Gun Kelly‘s “last november,” a song about his and Fox’s miscarriage. While Fox hasn’t disclosed the identity of the father, she tagged Machine Gun Kelly in the post. The pair have been open about their fertility issues in the past dedicating songs to their unborn baby in performances and in Fox’s poetry book.

She opened up about the miscarriage in an interview with Good Morning America. “I’d never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately … trying to navigate What does this mean? and Why did this happen?” she said.

Fans have previously suspected that Megan Fox was pregnant in July 2024 when she appeared in Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Roll’s music video for their song “Lonely Road.” Throughout the video, the mainstream sellout artist kissed and embraced Fox’s baby bump. The video has a time jump to eight months later with the couple smiling with a baby girl.
