Taylor Swift is finally settling down after her longtime running Eras Tour. The Tortured Poets Department singer is making plans to expand one of her eight homes and it’s a major one!

After nearly two years on the road, Taylor Swift is taking a well-deserved break. A source told Us Weekly that decisions about Taylor’s post-tour plans are still undecided, and that she’s “looking forward to taking a break and relaxing. She’s exhausted. That’s the plan for 2025. Taylor’s really eager to start the next chapter with Travis.”

So is this new chapter involving staying at her Rhode Island house more often?

What is Taylor Swift doing with her Rhode Island house?

According to local permits, Taylor Swift is planning to do a major expansion of her house by 400 square feet. The renovation will cost her $1.7 million to complete. One of the 11,000-square-foot property’s current bedrooms will turn into an “enlarged bedroom suite” and lounge. She’s also planning to add another bedroom and renovate the whole kitchen.

The Rhode Island mansion is nicknamed her “Holiday House” or her “High Watch.” The house “offers 700 feet of private beachfront,” per Newsweek, and includes eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms. There are also eight fireplaces. The residence is one of Swift’s eight properties across the United States in cities like Nashville, New York City, and also in Rhode Island.

The news comes shortly after Travis Kelce teased out plans for marriage. In a Jan. 8 podcast of New Heights, a fan asked him when the best time to get married is. “I actually don’t know people who’ve gotten married in the fall, because all the weddings I’ve been to and all my friends always do it in the summer,” he responded, adding that his football schedule makes it tough to attend. “I’ve seen weddings in f—ing February. I’ve seen weddings everywhere but the fall.” So does that preference mean wedding bells are ringing in the near future?

Even if a wedding isn’t in the cards, Taylor is ready to spend her future with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. A source told OK Magazine, “After 21 months on the road and a year-and-a-half with Travis, Taylor is ready for this next chapter to begin with the love of her life. They’ve got a lot to look forward to, and they couldn’t be more excited about it.”
