Cameron Diaz is an all natural beauty. The actress has talked about the pressures that Hollywood puts onto women, and she isn’t succumbing to it!
Cameron Diaz is making her acting comeback in Netflix’s Back in Action which also stars Jamie Foxx. On why she’s returning to the small screen, she told viewers at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in 2014, “It was just the right time for my family. After COVID, we were in the house for a long time, which was amazing and the problem was we would probably stay there, we would still be there right now. People would be like, ‘It’s over,’ and I’d be like, ‘No it’s not, it’s not over for me,’”
She continued, “So I had to push myself; my husband and I — my husband, who is the best — he was like, ‘You’ve been supporting us and building the family’ and supporting him in his businesses, he’s like, ‘It’s time for us to support you and let Mommy ascend and do her thing.’ He’s like, ‘Let me see you do it, girl.’ I was like, ‘All right, here we go.’”

The Annie star also revealed that she does this one unconventional thing to her face every day. See what she had to say about her lifestyle.
Cameron Diaz admitted that she doesn’t use Botox for her face after a harrowing experience with the injection. “I’ve tried [Botox] before, where it was like [a] little tiny touch of something. It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, ‘No, I don’t want to [be] like [that]’ … I’d rather see my face aging than a face that doesn’t belong to me at all,” she told Entertainment Tonight in 2014.
A source close to her also confirmed the story to OK Magazine. “It’s no secret Cameron used to get a little bit of work, just like everybody else in her industry she was under pressure to get Botox and all that stuff,” a source spilled. “But she hated how it changed her face and swore off it years ago and it’s really paid off because she looks fantastic and very natural, unlike a lot of her peers.”
Though she hasn’t talked about plastic surgery, she talked about not washing her face on the regular. On the BBC podcast Rule Breakers with Michelle Visage, The Mask actress revealed that face wash is not on her routine. “I don’t care. Literally, the last thing I think about on a daily basis,” she said. “I literally do nothing. I like never wash my face. … Twice a month, if I’m lucky, I’ll be like, ‘Oh, I better put this on. One time works, right?’ I’m just not in that place right now like where I put any energy,”
On the same podcast, she revealed that it took her a while to move away from Hollywood’s conventional beauty standards. “I am absolutely a victim to all of the societal objectifications, you know, that women, and exploitations that women, are subjected to,” she said. “I have bought into all of them myself, you know, at certain times. It’s not hard not to. It’s hard not to look at yourself and judge yourself against other markers of beauty.”
Now that she’s raising her family with husband Benji Madden and daughter Raddix, she’s aiming to maintain a healthy lifestyle and her natural beauty. “It’s just a different time in my life now,” she said. “Now, I’m here, and this is the most fulfilling thing that I’ve ever done in my life. … It’s just completely the best thing.”
