Congratulations are in order for Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente! The supermodel just gave birth to their first child together, and people are wondering what her ex, football GOAT Tom Brady, thinks about the new addition to the family.
Brady and Bündchen divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. The former couple shares two children, Benjamin and Vivian, and co-parent Brady’s son Jack from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynihan. At the time reports indicated the divorce had to do with Brady’s decision to go back to playing football right after he announced his retirement. News then broke that Bündchen was in a budding relationship with her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. In October 2024, People reported that the two were expecting their first child together.

Four months later, TMZ reported that Gisele Bündchen gave birth to their child. The baby’s name and gender is kept under wraps, with the couple opting to know the baby’s gender at the time of birth. The mother is super happy and the baby is healthy.
Tom Brady hasn’t made any official statements regarding his ex’s baby, but Sports Illustrated dropped an interview “ironically” timed to the baby’s birth. The ex-football player is going to be a sports commentator for Fox at Super Bowl LIX, and he talked about the challenges that he might face while talking about the sport in real time.
“I always thought it was gonna be a challenge and has certainly been that, and a very positive challenge,” Brady told the magazine. ”Part of the experience of life is challenging yourself and getting outside your comfort zone to experience new things where it can be more of a transformational experience for you. To use your voice and your vision for a live television audience, there’s a lot of adrenaline in that. It was very different from when I played where I would see all these things, I just didn’t have to verbalize them. I knew subconsciously what to do and my body just took over because ultimately, that’s how I trained it.”
Gisele Bündchen gave a rare insight into her relationship with Valente in an interview with the New York Times. “This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” she said. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
