Cobra Kai’s Tanner Buchanan Just Confirmed His Engagement With Co-Star Mary Mouser
Cobra Kai fans have been shipping these stars from the start. Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser just might have hard launched an engagement on the red carpet, and we cannot contain our excitement.
In the show, Tanner Buchanan plays Robby Keene, while Mary Mouser plays Sam LaRusso. The two have often bond on and off set, with Mary posting photos of them wearing their karate gear with the rest of the cast. Fans have been speculating about their relationship since Mary posted a photo of them doing matching poses at Disneyland during the holidays.
Even though Cobra Kai is coming to an end, Mary is excited for her next stage of life. She told Glamour, “Cobra Kai has been so much of my life for so much of my life now that it’s weird even for me to conceptualize something outside of Cobra Kai, but I’m very excited about what’s next.” Will Tanner be by her side for her upcoming chapter?

Yes The two appeared on the Cobra Kai red carpet on February 12, 2024, with matching rings on their ring finger and appeared very lovey-dovey with one another. Mary even planted a kiss on Tanner’s cheek making it seem even more official.
Tanner confirmed the engagement in an Instagram post. “We’re so happy to finally share that we’re engaged. This is such a special moment in our lives, the closing of one chapter and celebrating the continuation of another. We’re so grateful for the love and support, and though we’re partial to having our private moments, we’re excited to share this check-in to our world 🖤”
Tanner talked to People on the red carpet about how he considers Mary “a hundred percent” ride-or-die confidant for him among the Cobra Kai cast. “But to be honest, literally everybody,” he said about the cast’s closeness. “There’s not one person that we don’t hang out with and have fun with, and we truly keep saying that we’re going to be around in each other’s lives forever. I don’t know how to explain it.”
He added, “It’s just really crazy, weird, cool family connection that we’ve built over the past seven and a half years, and none of us are ever not going to be in each other’s lives.”
