Timothée Chalamet & Kylie Jenner Have Date Night at Oscars in the Same Room as His Ex Lily-Rose Depp

Before there was Kylie Jenner, there was someone else. Timothée Chalamet attended the Oscars 2025 on the same night as his ex-girlfriend, Lily-Rose Depp.
Chalamet and Depp, who dated from September 2018 to April 2020, both walked the red carpet within minutes of each other at the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 2, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Depp is a presenter, while Chalamet is nominated in the Best Actor category for his performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.
Also at the Oscars is Chalamet’s current girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, who started dating in 2023. While Jenner didn’t walk the red carpet, she was seen sitting next to him at the ceremony. She also attended the 2025 Golden Globe Awards with him. “Timothée is used to attending award shows and events, but it was nice having Kylie there to support him,” a source told Page Six in January 2025. Kylie really is his best friend and his biggest supporter. They have such a strong connection and he was so thankful she could be there with him. [She] has such a positive energy and she just has a way of uplifting Timothée’s vibe whenever she’s around.”
Chalamet and Depp, for their part, met while filmnig The King in 2018. They split two years later, with E! News speculating that distance played a part in their breakup. Depp told The Drew Barrymore Show in 2019 about why she’s never commented on her romance with Chalamet. “The value of privacy is something that’s been instilled in me from an early age,” she said. “Growing up in a family like I did, it was always something that was … I always learned the importance of privacy and valuing that and keeping things just for yourself. And so that’s something that I’ve carried on into my own career and that’s really important to me.”
As for Chalamet and Jenner, a source told Entertainment Tonight in February 2025 that Jenner is “happy to support” her boyfriend “throughout his awards season.” “She admires how talented and hardworking he is,” the insider said.
