The Traitors Fans Are Convinced This Contestant Won the Seer Twist & Flipped the Finale Upside Down

The Traitors Season 3‘s penultimate episode ended on the cliffhanger of cliffhangers, with a final vote from Britney determining whether traitor Danielle or faithful Ivar would be banished. But who was banished at the final roundtable wasn’t the only cliffhanger the episode ended on. There was also the question of who became the Seer in The Traitors Season 3.
Who’s the Seer in The Traitors Season 3?
The Seer twist was determined in The Traitors Season 3, Episode 10, “The Power of the Seer,” through a round of challenges in which each contestant won a sum of money. The contestant with the most money became the Seer and could ask any contestant to reveal their true identity—Faithful or Traitor—in private.
By the start of the third and final round, Danielle Reyes (Big Brother), Britney Haynes (Big Brother), and Dolores Catania (The Real Housewives of New Jersey) were at the top. Danielle had $2500, while Britney and Dolores were tied at second with $2400. Ivar Mountbatten (the British royal family) had $500 while Gabby Windey (The Bachelorette) and Dylan Efron (Down to Earth With Zac Efron) were tied at the bottom with $0.
For the final challenge, the contestants were asked to retrieve as many gold coins—each worth $100—they could in five minutes. While Ivar, Dylan, and Gabby were the farthest behind, host Alan Cumming noted that anyone could still win the Seer twist. The challenge ended with Alan telling the contestants the winner of the Seer twist wouldn’t be revealed until after the final roundtable. So was the Seer in The Traitors Season 3?
While viewers won’t know for sure who becomes the Seer until The Traitors Season 3 finale airs on Thursday, March 6, fans still believe that Dolores, Danielle, and Britney have the advantage going into the final challenge, with most predicting that either Dolores or Danielle will win. If Dolores wins, fans speculate that she’ll use the Seer twist on Ivar, who she voted as a traitor at the final roundtable, and will learn that Ivar is a faithful. “If Danielle goes home, then it’s Dolores, and she’ll waste her vote checking Ivar. But that proves Ivar is safe,” a user wrote on Reddit.
If Danielle wins—and makes it past the final roundtable—fans predict that she’ll use the Seer twist on Britney, whom she made a traitor in the episode prior, to lie that she’s a faithful, ensuring they’re both in a good spot in the finale. “Ya’ll ain’t ready for Ivar to go home, Danielle to use the seer power on Britney, call her a faithful. Vote out Dylan. Game over,” another user wrote on Reddit. Another user wrote, “I think this is the most likely outcome just because it’s so unsatisfying. I think it explains the cliffhanger too, because Ivar going home makes the finale kind of anticlimatic.”
The Seer outcome also depends on how the final roundtable ends. Episode 10 concluded on a cliffhanger with three votes to banish Ivar and three votes to banish Danielle. The contestants were then asked to re-vote between Ivar and Danielle. If there was another tie, the contestant banished would be determined by a coin flip. The episode ended with one vote for Ivar from Dolores, and two votes for Danielle from Dylan and Gabby. Just as Britney was about to reveal her vote, the screen faded to black.
If Danielle won the Seer twist, whether she actually is able to use it depends on if she’s banished at the final roundtable. If she is, then the Seer twist would go to the next contestant with the highest amount of coins, which will likely be either Britney or Dolores. If Dolores wins, she’s likely to use it on Ivar, as fans have predicted, which would keep Britney’s identity as a traitor safe going into the finale.
