The Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni drama is showing no signs of ending, particularly with dueling lawsuits ongoing. The rumors that the actor and director of It Ends With Us, Baldoni, and his co-star in the film, Lively, didn’t get along swirled from the start. Then they escalated after Baldoni did a lot of press for the movie on his own.
Speculation reached a fever pitch after the premiere, when the cast of the movie avoided referring to him by name and no one appeared in any pictures with Baldoni, despite him being the star and director of the film. A few months later Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, producer Jamey Heath, and publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel Baldoni counteracted with a lawsuit accusing Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds of civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy.

As all of this is going on, there’s been rampant speculation about how this all affects the people around both Baldoni and Lively. People have especially focused on Lively’s close friendship with Taylor Swift, particularly after rumors the two might be on the outs after Lively referred to Swift as one of her “dragons” to Baldoni.
But as the legal proceedings advance, the question now becomes, could they involve Swift? Will Taylor Swift be subpoenaed in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal case? Here’s what we know.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Swift will indeed be subpoenaed and questioned under oath as part of the ongoing legal battle between Baldoni and Lively. The singer has been friends with Lively for over a decade and was mentioned by both sides in their legal filings against each other.
According to the report the list of witnesses Baldoni’s team wants to hear from also includes It Ends With Us co-stars Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer, senior staff at the talent agency WME, and executives at Sony. All of these witnesses would be sworn in to answer questions under oath, with their answers recorded by a court reporter. This is fairly standard for these kinds of cases, as they want to get anyone who might know something on the record.
Swift and Lively have not been seen in public together since Lively filled her lawsuit against Baldoni, with reports Swift felt used after Baldoni released texts from Lively that allegedly read: ‘If you ever get around to watching Game Of Thrones, you’ll appreciate I’m Khaleesi, and, like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really, we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.’
Those dragons are reportedly meant to refer to Swift and Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds.
Lively recently filed an amended complaint that alleges two other actresses on the film are prepared to testify as to their own uncomfortable experiences with Baldoni or his Wayfarer Studios partner Jamey Heath. Those two actresses are thought to be Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer.
