Michelle Obama is getting real about some serious topics. The former first lady is launching a podcast with her brother Craig Robinson, and the siblings and guests will talk about the tricky subjects surrounding adult friendships and relationships.
“Let’s be real: we are living through some really complicated and confusing times, and people are feeling more alone than ever,” Michelle says in the trailer for the podcast titled IMO, short for In My Opinion. “But I’ve learned that if you’re feeling a certain kind of way, the reality is that others are probably feeling that way too, and when you take the time to be just a little vulnerable and open up about it, it’s a whole lot easier to find the answers you’re looking for.”
The podcast will invite high-profile guests to talk about the topics that “keep us honest” while also sharing their own insights about life, “whether you are navigating the grey areas of marriage and raising kids, dealing with a little friend drama, or even figuring out how to put yourself out there in the dating world.” The guest lineup includes Issa Rae, Keke Palmer, and Dr. Orna Guralnik.

According to The New York Times, the first episode will discuss Craig Robinson’s divorce and Michelle’s reluctance to support her husband’s presidential run. The second episode features Issa Rae and they talk about maintaining adult friendships based on a viewer’s question.
The podcast comes at the heels of ongoing divorce rumors surrounding the former first couple. Rumors started to swirl when Barack Obama attended President Donald Trump’s inauguration and former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral solo. Even Jennifer Aniston was roped into the rumors. The Friends actress was rumored to be dating Barack but she denied the claim on Jimmy Kimmel Live! saying, “I know Michelle more than him!”
The former President seemingly squashed the rumors when he posted a Valentine’s tribute to his wife. “Thirty-two years together and you still take my breath away,” he wrote on X alongside a photo of the couple smiling. “Happy Valentine’s Day @michelleobama”
