Chris Pratt has been a household name for what feels like a long time. Sure, we first got to know him as Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. But he was on Everwood before that, and on films like Wanted, and Jennifer’s Body, and then he got really ripped for Zero Dark Thirty. Plus, after that, he joined the MCU as Star-Lord, and the question of who was the best Chris started becoming a topic of conversation at basically every Marvel event.

The point is, no matter what your answer is, Chris Pratt is a familiar name. And if somehow you escaped Marvel, you probably didn’t escape the Jurassic World trilogy. Or the Lego Movie franchise. Or the Super Mario Bros Movie, or the Garfield movie, or you know, when he married Katherine Schwarzenegger. And joked about his brother-in-law’s The White Lotus role.

He’s had his share of controversies, too. His divorce from ex-wife Anna Faris was not without drama, and he has been accused of belonging to a church that holds anti-LGBTQ views. But lately, there has been a lot of talk about Pratt not just because of his movie roles or what he might be up to lately, but because of his appearance. And because of how good he’s looking. That´s because people are convinced Pratt just got a hair transplant.

But, did Chris Pratt really get a hair transplant? Here’s what we know.

Did Chris Pratt get a hair transplant?

The actor hasn’t confirmed or denied the hair transplant news, and he likely never will. These kinds of cosmetic procedures aren’t the kind that are actually confirmed or denied by stars on the regular. But it’s easy to see the differences when we compare some pictures of Pratt from a few years back to some of the more recent pictures of Pratt. And yet in most other pictures, it looks like there are no differences, making it seem like the ones that have differences might just have been about hairstyle. Though we’re going to be honest, if we had, we wouldn’t think there’s anything to be embarrassed about. He looks pretty good.

Whatever makes you feel good, honestly. People should be embarrassed about how they behave, not cosmetic procedures they do to look better.

The internet is full of people speculating about Chris Pratt’s hair transplant, wig, or lack thereof, particularly on Reddit. Though some are not convinced, it’s a transplant, and believe it’s actually just a wig. There’s this comment on Reddit, which goes hard. “Chris Pratt’s hair is straight-up a wig, if that helps. Dude is super bald.” And then there’s this other one, “In some other galaxy, they found the cure guys, stay hopeful,” with a picture of Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy.

“It’s gotta be a high quality hair piece right?” someone responded on that very same thread. And though we don’t have a definitive answer, we will say Chris Pratt’s hair looks good these days. And that’s something to celebrate.
