The spotting comes weeks after Sydney was reportedly postponing her wedding to her longtime fiance Jonathan Davino. TMZ reported that the couple decided to postpone their wedding after three years of engagement in February 2025. The initial wedding date was scheduled to be in May 2025, but the exact reason for the postponement is unknown. Gossip blog DeuxMoi reported that Powell and Sweeney were seen at the members-only club Park House, where they were described as looking “real close.” The two were also seen in The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas where the two looked “very friendly,” with sources saying that Powell rubbed Sweeney’s thigh and had his arm around her. Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell aren’t dating. According to a source to TMZ, they didn’t attend Glen Powell’s sister’s wedding as a couple, and the Euphoria actress was invited months prior to the rumored split.
The source also added that Sweeney attended the wedding with her best friend. The star also didn’t attend the rehearsal dinner. She’s “very good friends with the Powell family” and has been “very close” to Powell’s younger sister “for a long time.” Powell’s sister Leslie and her now-husband had a big part in the Anyone But You production—with the former contributing music to the film.
Despite the dating rumors being shut down, there still seems to be trouble in paradise for Sweeney and Davino. A source told Page Six that their relationships are on the rocks. “Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split,” the insider said. “Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”
“Sydney is really focused on her career. Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together,” the source continued.
