Netflix sure has a way of finding actors who are on the cusp of becoming great romantic leads and turning them into the next big thing. Enter Kyle Allen, who stars opposite Sofia Carson on The Life List, the streamer’s newest romantic comedy. The movie sees a woman, played by Carson, on a quest to complete a teenage bucket list, with one of them, of course, being finding true love.
Allen plays her love interest, Brad, and though this is far from Allen’s first role, it might just be the one that makes him the new heartthrob in people’s minds. This is Netflix, after all. And the chemistry between him and Carson is palpable. But there’s something about Allen and playing up a romance. He did so before in The In Between, in which he starred opposite Joey King.

Based on publicly available information, Allen appears to be single. He has always been a very private person when it comes to his personal life, as none of his relationships have ever been reported. There were rumors that his relationship with co-star Joey King could have been romantic at the time the two starred in The In Between, but those rumors were shut down by both.
Allen has always spoken very highly and in a very professional manner about all his co-stars, saying in an interview with Pop Culturalist about his costars, from Joey King to Kathryn Newton to Alex Shipp. “They’re wonderful, open, kind, and vibrant. They bring so much that it’s always so easy for me. I absolutely, without question, owe my career to those women and more,” even adding, “I’ve been so clueless as an actor. It’s different for guys than it is for girls. Girls can’t be clueless. The bar to entry is much higher for women.”
Respect aside, though, there has been no talk of anything romantic surrounding any of his co-stars. But the actor who transitioned from acrobat to ballet dancer, with a little bit of avid martial artist thrown in to professional actor, has now grown his career to a point where the questions are sure to become part of his day-to-day life. And though the fact that he appears single doesn’t mean he actually is, with Allen’s star on the rise, one thing is clear: while fans think they have a shot, the questions will continue being asked.
