Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Reportedly Welcome New Family Member After Reports They Have Their ‘Future Planned Out’
Congratulations are in order for Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, and their new pup! According to some insiders, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Lover singer adopted a dog to prepare for the future of their relationship.
A source told Radar Online that this was a hefty decision for the couple. “They didn’t take this on lightly, the source dished. “Getting a new puppy requires a lot of teamwork – and it’s made their bond even stronger.” Another insider added: “This is just a trial run for them getting ready to start a family of their own.”
They continued, “They’re saying this is practice for a baby. They’re still playing coy about an engagement, but they’re beyond happy. They’ve been playing house. It’s been fun after the busy couple of years they’ve had.”
Jason Kelce confirmed that his brother adopted a dog on the Fitz & Whit Podcast. The puppy destroyed some of the Kansas Chiefs’ tight end’s “Italian designer” coaches. “He had these couches and they were like green velvet,” the retired football player shared. “Like, over-the-top couches. I’m not going to say the dollar amount, but I’m like, ‘Dude, what are these couches?’”
Taylor is no stranger to pets. She’s a proud cat mom to her three felines: Meredith Gray, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. However, starting a family is something new in her agenda. “She wants to get married and start a family, and now is the time,” another source claimed to RadarOnline. “Privately, she’s hoping Kelce will retire, but she’ll support him through another year of football if that’s what he wants.”
And if they’ve put a ring on it, they quite haven’t done so yet. Engagement speculation has been swirling since December 2024 when Radar Online reported that Kelce had begun shopping for rings in preparation for a “perfect” proposal. “Travis doesn’t want to fumble this one,” an insider claimed. “He’s been putting a lot of pressure on himself to make every detail of this proposal perfect, especially the ring.” When reporters later asked Kelce if he was planning to propose, he playfully dodged the question with a smile, saying, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
