Taylor Swift Made a Drastic Change in Travis Kelce’s Friend Group Amid Engagement Rumors

Travis Kelce is only focusing on two things: his football career and his relationship with Taylor Swift. One of Travis’ old buddies admitted that they haven’t hung out in a while amid rumors that the power couple is getting very serious about their future.
It all started when Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce were throwing names at who should appear on their podcast New Heights. “Who should we have on?” Jason pondered. “Obviously, the two big ones for both of us are Howie (Roseman) and (Brett) Veach, the two general managers for our respective teams. … We could go outside of the organization and go with someone who maybe is used to working in the NFL or works in the media. Nick Wright threw his hat in the ring on Twitter. Known Kansas City Chiefs homer.” Travis iterated his love for the sports personality, “F—ing love Nick Wright.”
On his own podcast What’s Wright Show, Nick Wright accepted the offer. “My guy Trav; what a delight,” Wright said. “So here is the thing, Trav and I have not like talked talked since he has been serious with Taylor Swift, since he’s become a super-duper celebrity. I don’t want to bother him during the year. And then last offseason, he was traveling the world with Taylor.”
He continued, “‘And then at the parade last year, we were going to get together after the parade or during, but there was obviously the tragedy and the shooting at the parade. So everything went askew.”
Nonetheless, the sports commentator will take the honor. “Appreciate the shoutout on one of the world’s most popular podcasts,” he wrote on X. “Also, to the ‘New Heights’ producers, I’ll do it. And I’ll waive my appearance fee just to help them out. They want someone to come on and really break down the cap. Nothing would thrill me more.”
The news comes on the heels of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement rumors. The two have reportedly been spotted house hunting together, but neither have confirmed that they put a ring on it.
The rumors have continued to gain traction after RadarOnline reported that the couple has been looking for a home together in Montana, which sources describe as “their happy place.” According to insiders quoted by the publication, Swift and Kelce “love Montana” because there are “no paparazzi, no pressure. Just mountains, good food, and close friends.”
Recently, Taylor also had a shake-up with her own girl group when she was included in Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s legal battle. The tension arose after text messages emerged in Justin Baldoni’s countersuit against Lively, where the actress allegedly referred to Swift as one of her “dragons” alongside husband Ryan Reynolds. Sources close to Swift told TMZ she was “royally pissed off” about being characterized this way, especially since she “never had a dog in the fight.”
However, a source told Deuxmoi that Lively was “mortified at how the text message reads out of context and did reach out to Taylor to apologize.” They also said that Taylor was reportedly not happy about being dragged into the legal battle and being referred to as the It Ends With Us star’s “dragon,” she has allegedly accepted Lively’s apology for the controversial text message.
