Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Welcome Another Addition to Their Family After Discussing the ‘Next Steps’ in Their Relationship
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship is always giving people something to talk about. Ever since the singer’s relationship with actor Joe Alwyn fizzled and she started dating NFL superstar Kelce, people have been locked in. Particularly, because the whole thing seemed like a fairy tale from the beginning.
First, there was Kelce revealing on his New Heights podcast in 2023 that he tried to give Swift his number via a friendship bracelet at her Eras Tour show in Kansas City. Swift later shared in her Time 2023 Person of The Year profile, “This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.” They started hanging out after that. It’s been two years, and they’re still going strong. And now, they’ve gotten to a point where people are speculating what the next step is, and if there could be a wedding on the horizon.

But with the two at the top of their respective careers, fans are wondering if the next step is settling down in some form. And there’s no doubt that the two have taken a few concrete steps towards a more serious relationship in the past few weeks, including Swift’s support for Kelce’s new niece, Finnley.
Kylie Kelce, the wife of Travis Kelce’s older brother Jason, announced the birth of her fourth daughter via Instagram on Thursday. “Whoop, there she is!” the new mom captioned the post of the baby, whose name is Finnley ‘Finn’ Anne Kelce.
“Finnley!!! 😍😍😍,” uncle Travis Kelce commented on the post.
And new aunt Taylor? Well, she did not comment, but she did like the post.
Travis also got to meet the new baby during the new episode of the New Heights podcast. “We just had a baby. Do you want to see your new niece?” Jason asks Travis at the beginning of the episode. Travis looks very excited at the prospect. “Hey, little muffin. Look at you. Just hanging out with mom?” he asks when he finally gets to see the baby, and asks his brother if she has a name already.
Both Swift and Kelce have been spending some time away from the spotlight after so much of their relationship has been spent in the public eye, with one source telling Us Weekly that the two were keen to experience a more “normal life” after the Eras Tour and the Super Bowl. Another source added that the couple “needed time for themselves,” explaining, “Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love. They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
And one of the things Kelce has been doing with his time away from the spotlight? According to brother Jason, adopting a dog! He confirmed it on the Fitz & Whit Podcast. And like any dog owner knows, adopting a puppy comes with some growing pains. Apparently, the puppy destroyed some of the Kansas Chiefs’ tight end’s “Italian designer” coaches. “He had these couches and they were like green velvet,” Jason Kelce shared. “Like, over-the-top couches. I’m not going to say the dollar amount, but I’m like, ‘Dude, what are these couches?’” Taylor herself is no stranger to pets. She has three cats herself: Meredith Gray, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.
