Did Meghan Markle change her name again? The Duchess of Sussex is turning heads again after she made a daring change with her name.

When Meghan’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan premiered, a moment on the show went viral where she corrected her friend Mindy Kaling about her last name. “People wouldn’t believe that Meghan Markle ate at Jack in the Box,” The Office alum said. “It’s so funny, too, that you keep saying Meghan Markle. You know I’m Sussex now,” Meghan jokingly replied.

It turns out that Meghan might just have made another pivot. “I’m Meghan,” she said in the first line of her new podcast. During the credits, a voiceover also omitted the former Royal’s last name. “‘Confessions of a Female Founder’ is a production of Lemonada Media, created and hosted by Meghan,” the individual said. It’s not known why Meghan chose to only be referred to her first name.

It was confirmed by The Times of London that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle changed their surname to Sussex for the sake of their children Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3. They want to use that name instead of being known as the Mountbatten-Windsors in order to unify the family. “You have kids and you go, ‘No, I share my name with my children,’” Meghan told Mindy on her show. “It just means so much to go, ‘This is our family name, our little family name.’”

“The reality behind the new site is very simple — it’s a hub for the work the Sussexes do and it reflects the fact the family have, since the king’s coronation, the same surname for the first time,” the source told the outlet about how the family changed their domain name on their website, adding, “That’s a big deal for any family. It represents their unification and it’s a proud moment.”
