Prince William, Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales speak with members of the Emergency Services during a visit to Southport Community Centre on October 10, 2024 in Southport, England. Earlier this year, Bebe King (6), Elsie Dot Stancombe (7) and Alice da Silva Aguiar (9) died after a mass stabbing at a children's Taylor Swift-themed dance class on July 29 in the Merseyside town of Southport.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 14th wedding anniversary will be a very special one. The Heir and his wife will be visiting the place where they first fell in love: Scotland.

According to the royal schedule, Prince William and Kate Middleton, who also hold the titles of Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, will begin their visitation on the Isle of Mull, where they’ll begin their visit in the capital, Tobermory. On the day of their wedding anniversary, the busy day will consist of visiting a local community center, a producers’ market, a farm, and a rainforest to learn about preserving the habitat.

Scotland holds a lot of meaning to the Prince and Princess of Wales. The couple met when they were both students at the University of St. Andrews in the country. Prince William fell for his future wife when she was walking in a fashion show wearing a sheer outfit. They became flatmates and pursued a relationship where Prince William proposed in 2009. They two married in Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011.

The news comes after William made the shocking move to transition to his late-mother Diana’s lawyers. The Prince of Wales has been regularly using his father’s lawyers Harbottle & Lewis and its partner, Gerrard Tyrrell. Harbottle & Lewis has also represented the Royal family for decades. William made the move to Mishcon de Reya, which represented Princess Diana in her divorce from Charles a year before her accidental death. ”William wanted to strike out on his own,” a source tells the Daily Mail, who broke this news. “He did not want to continue using his father’s lawyers. It’s as simple as that. He wants to be his own man.” While the law firm did represent Diana in her divorce, the company also specializes in dispute resolution, private client & family law, real estate, reputation protection, and innovation & technology.

However, there isn’t a thing to be worried about for the state of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s marriage. Kate Middleton returned to public duties after she announced her remission after her cancer diagnosis and thanked her husband for his continuous support. The Scotland trip marks Kate Middleton’s first overnight trip after her cancer diagnosis.
