See Miley Cyrus Seemingly Ignore Ex Patrick Schwarzenegger at the Met Gala a Decade After Their Cheating Scandal
Miley Cyrus literally turned heads at the 2025 Met Gala, and one of them was her ex-boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger. She attended the event separately, but paparazzi were quick to snap a photo of her alongside her ex-fling.
In a photo obtained by Us Weekly, Miley is all smiles as she walks past a crowd, where Patrick Schwarzenegger looks at her. One Miley Cyrus fan account posted on X, “Miley Cyrus ignoring her ex Patrick Schwarzenegger at #MetGala 😭”
The White Lotus star dated the Hannah Montana alum in 2014 when he was still a student at USC and she was in her Bangerz era. At the time, fans alleged that Patrick was cheating on her after he was photographed taking body shots off another girl. “Omg. It’s one of my best friends girlfriend,” he tweeted at the time. “Would NEVER do anything against my GF…. Girls have guy friends and guys have friends that are girls.”

In response to the photos, Miley shaded Patrick by posting a photo of her kissing her BFF Cheyne Thomas. “da most biewteous thang in da whole wide world iz friendship. yiew choose dem outta all da billion trillion and beyond dey are da onez dat days seem toooo short with….” she posted at the time. “Yiew wish dey could just go on foreva (that’s why sometimes yiew skip da sleepin part) i am layin in da gra$$ lookin up at all da clouds and tryin to even get a lil solaaaa gaze action jusss bein still … & bein thankful. biewty is all around us and we izzzz so lucky to be on dis planet. (I mean seriously wtf are the chances we all meet da onez we love) Feeling supaaaa blisssssed or maybe I’m juzzzz stone.” The two called it quits a month after the incident.
The two have clearly moved on after a decade since their split. Miley Cyrus is currently dating Maxx Morando, who was a producer on her album Endless Summer Nights. Meanwhile, Patrick Schwarzenegger is engaged to longtime partner Abby Champion.
