Rihanna knows how to make a pregnancy announcement. The “Don’t Stop the Music” singer debuted her baby bump at the Met Gala, and fans are analyzing her every move for more information about her baby.
When she was walking on the carpet, she was talking to some reporters about her look and if she brought her “umbrella, ella, ella, eh” in reference to her hit song “Umbrella.” “I brought the kids,” she responded, as fants thought.
Fans went online to react to her response. “KIDS. As in twins???? Or more ??????😳,” a fan wrote in the comments of a TikTok of the interaction posted by Access Hollywood. Many fans thought the same thing. “Did she say KIDSSSSSS OR AM I TRIPPING?” and another fan wrote, “She said KIDS?!?!?” However, other fans also seemed to disagree and argued that she used the word “kid” as singular. “I missed the s👀 she said kid,” a person wrote. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky haven’t confirmed if she’s pregnant with twins.

Rihanna’s boyfriend A$AP Rocky, who was a chair at this year’s Met Gala, was elated with the news and announcement. On the red carpet, Rocky told the Associated Press, “It feels amazing, you know. It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. Glad everybody’s happy for us ‘cause we definitely happy.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are already parents to two boys: RZA, 2, and Riot, 1. The Fenty Beauty founder also acknowledged that she didn’t want to stop expanding her family. ‘I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two,’ she told Interview in April 2024. ‘I would try for my girl. But, of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.’
In December 2024, A$AP Rocky talked about how being a dad changed up his style to People. “If I could define my dad style, I would say it’s way more focused,” he said. “Prior to that, it was more absurd outfits and just mixing and matching everything just for the sake of it. Now it’s a bit more quiet luxury.” He also praised Rihanna about how she styles their kids.
“That’s their mother by herself,” he said. “I don’t have any contribution to when my sons get dressed,” he said. “Sometimes she dresses them like me with kilts and all of that, but that’s all their moms, man. She got good style and taste. Well, if we see the whole family at the Met Gala, that would be historic.
