How Ben Affleck Really Feels About Tom Cruise Dating Ex Ana De Armas After He Declared His ‘Love’ for Latinas

Ben Affleck has some opinions about his ex Ana de Armas dating the other hottest man in Hollywood right now. After the Knives Out and Mission Impossible stars were spotted on several dates, a person close to the Air director revealed that he’s having mixed feelings about the situation.
“Ben is kind of [a] jealous [type], yup,” a source told the Daily Mail. “He really liked Ana a lot and then she walked away and left him sad. So to see her happy with his friend is kind of weird for him.”
Affleck’s friends joked that he “should get revenge on Cruise by dating his ex-wife Katie Holmes.” However, there wouldn’t be any tensions between the actors. “I think every working actor in Hollywood is jealous of Tom’s success and Ben is not any different,” the source added.
“But Ben is also happy for Tom,” the source assured. “I mean, he admires that a colleague in his sixties is still going hard on the big screen. Ben hopes to be so lucky one day.”

Before they were spotted together, de Armas also praised Tom Cruise for his stunt skills. In 2023, while discussing her own stunt work for the film Ghosted, she actually gave the action star a glowing review. “I’m not at a Tom Cruise level yet,” she told USA Today. “But I can appreciate what he does 100 percent now, and I totally get why he does it. He’s so mind-blowing.”
The timing of the article raises questions because TMZ posted an paparazzi interaction where Ben Affleck confirmed that he still “likes” Latinas. When asked by a paparazzo about if he felt great about being Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor he responded with, “Muy bien” … or, “very good.” He also asked the actor if he likes Latinas, and he replies, “Yes, of course.”
Ana de Armas, who hails from Cuba, and Ben Affleck dated for nearly a year from 2020 to 2021. As for why she broke up with him, she described the attention from the paparazzi as “horrible” but since realized that it was “good” because the situation was “one of the reasons why I left L.A.” She explained to Elle the effect living in L.A. had on her mental health and hinted it was one of the reasons her relationship with Ben didn’t work. “Going through it [myself] confirmed my thoughts about, ‘This is not the place for me to be.’ It became a little bit too much. There’s no escape. There’s no way out. … It’s always the feeling of something that you don’t have, something missing. It’s a city that keeps you anxious.” She also added that she left social media because of the breakup. “I deleted Twitter years ago. I have barely been on Instagram for almost a year.”
Affleck just got a divorce from on-and-off lover Jennifer Lopez, so who knows who’s going to end up with Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor.
