Well, at least the non-romantic ones, as she and Travis Kelce continue to be a strong as ever. It’s a little to be expected when you have such a tight-knit friends group and there’s drama between two members of the group, of course. There is always a third party who will end up caught in the middle.
Particularly considering the latest developments in the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni case, which, unsurprisingly, once again involve Taylor Swift. Baldoni’s lawyers are now claiming that Taylor Swift was threatened to support Blake Lively through a “source who is highly likely to have reliable information” and that using her friendship with Swift is all part of Lively’s plan.

Allegedly, Lively asked that Swift delete their text messages. But that’s not all, according to them, Lively’s attorney allegedly contacted Swift’s representatives and demanded that she release a “statement of support” for Lively.
Whether you believe that or not, one thing is certain: people who are friends with both are definitely caught in the middle of all of these reports, and one of the biggest names is Gigi Hadid. According to reports, not so much. Gigi Hadid is said to be distancing herself from Blake Lively amid the alleged friendship woes with Taylor Swift. “Gigi feels terrible that her close friend is being pulled into the legal drama,” a source told People, adding that Hadid has Swift’s back amid the ongoing drama.
“Gigi is closer to Taylor and has definitely taken her side in this whole drama. Gigi doesn’t want to get involved in this whole ordeal, but she is closer to Taylor and has distanced herself from Blake — although she still considers her a friend,” another source told the outlet.
Meanwhile, a third source claimed Lively’s relationship with Swift has “halted,” as Swift “wants no part in this drama.” However, a fourth source was clear that though the two are “taking some space” apart, they are “not no longer friends.”
The source of this entire drama can be traced to text messages that emerged in Justin Baldoni’s countersuit against Lively. In them, Lively allegedly referred to Swift as one of her “dragons” alongside husband Ryan Reynolds. At the time, Swift was reportedly “royally pissed off,” according to TMZ, especially since she “never had a dog in the fight.
Some reports indicate that the friendship between Lively and Swift—and probably by extension, Gigi Hadid—is on the mend. “Blake knew she and Taylor would come back from this at some point and that their friendship wasn’t done for good,” a source told People at the time. “Taylor was really hurt by this situation, so she’s relieved they were able to recover from this and put it all behind them because it wasn’t something she took lightly.”
Might not be at friendship bracelet level, but hopefully there’s no bad blood either.
