Travis Kelce’s Ex Sends Strong Message to Taylor Swift After Reigniting Rumors He Cheated
Travis Kelce‘s ex Kayla Nicole has some thoughts about Taylor Swift. The podcaster took to her platform to talk about her mindset when it comes to people bringing up her exes
On the May 30 episode of The Pre-Game With Kayla Nicole, she opened up about how it was “really beautiful” to think your ex’s new partner is “hot”. “I want to say that it’s really beautiful that you have the capacity to acknowledge that his new girl is hot,” she reflected. “And I think as a woman, something that we struggle with is admitting that the new girl might be popping. She might be the s—t. She might be really hot and there’s no problem in admitting that.”
As a former WAG, she compared the experience to sports. “Say you play basketball and you’re in the playoffs and you lose in the second round, and the team that you lose to goes on to win the championship,” she said. “All I’m saying is, if I’m gonna lose, I want to lose to the best team now.”
Kayla Nicole and Travis Kelce dated from 2017 to 2022, after she slid into his DMs. “I want you to move on and go do your big one,” the media personality declared about her ex. “Make me look good.”
The praise comes weeks after she took to her podcast to comment about being cheated on. “I have been conditioned to believe in a fairy tale of love and relationships,” she said. “You watch the Disney movies, you grow up in church. I was raised to believe that a man and woman, if they are in a relationship, if they are married, you are only intended to be with each other, and you make this agreement, this promise to one another to hold each other accountable.’
Though she didn’t name Kelce’s name, she hinted that she’s experienced cheating in her past relationships. “Have I experienced that in dating and relationships in my life? No. When you are cheated on, the heartbreak and devastation that come with that. The insecurities that come with that. It can be overwhelming. In my experience, I don’t have successful, monogamous relationships without any element of cheating.”
Meanwhile, Travis and his new girlfriend Taylor are keeping things on the down-low. Several sources dished to Us Weekly about why the Lover singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wanted to live a “normal life” after the extravaganza that was the Eras Tour and the Super Bowl. One source said they “needed time for themselves,” adding, “Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love. They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
