The Real Reason Travis Kelce Hasn’t Proposed to Taylor Swift Yet After His Ex Reignited Cheating Rumors
A proposal might be around the corner for Taylor Swift. Travis Kelce is reportedly in the midst of his giant engagement game-plan, and we’re so ready for him to pop the question.
A source recently told RadarOnline that he wants the proposal to be the most romantic experience ever. “Travis wants this to be perfect, like something from a Nicholas Sparks movie,” the source dished. “He knows Taylor’s experienced some iconic moments in her life, and he’s determined to create something even more unforgettable.
“But the pressure is real – not just from Taylor, but from her fans and the media. Everyone’s watching, everyone’s speculating. It’s enough to make anyone freeze,” they continued. Though they recently have been spotted away from each other, they’re stronger than ever. Another source shared, “They’ve had conflicting schedules, and Travis had that guys’ trip to Vegas without her, which raised some eyebrows. But he’s already working on the ring. He’s been meeting with a private jeweler to design something custom and has even looped in some of Taylor’s closest friends for input. It’s happening – just not yet.”
And as for when he’ll ask, don’t expect it any time soon. “People think he’ll pop the question before training starts,” the source added. “Taylor would love to be engaged by the time football’s back, but she’s not pushing him. Still, it’s hard not to feel a little anxious when it keeps dragging on.”
The sources’ news comes weeks after Travis Kelce‘s ex Kayla Nicole said that she’s been cheated in the past. “You watch the Disney movies, you grow up in church,” she explained on her podcast. “I was raised to believe that a man and woman, if they are in a relationship, if they are married, you are only intended to be with each other, and you make this agreement, this promise to one another to hold each other accountable.’
Though she didn’t name Kelce’s name, she hinted that she’s experienced cheating in her past relationships. “Have I experienced that in dating and relationships in my life? No. When you are cheated on, the heartbreak and devastation that come with that. The insecurities that come with that. It can be overwhelming. In my experience, I don’t have successful, monogamous relationships without any element of cheating.”
However, Kayla proved that there was no bad blood with the new couple and showered praise on her ex’s new relationship with the mega pop star. On the May 30 episode of The Pre-Game With Kayla Nicole, she opened up about how it was “really beautiful” to think your ex’s new partner is “hot”. “I want to say that it’s really beautiful that you have the capacity to acknowledge that his new girl is hot,” she reflected. “And I think as a woman, something that we struggle with is admitting that the new girl might be popping. She might be the s—t. She might be really hot and there’s no problem in admitting that.”
“I want you to move on and go do your big one,” the media personality declared about her ex. “Make me look good.”
