After years of financial issues—including claims she took her children’s money—there’s been a lot of interest in Kim Zolciak‘s net worth and what happened to her finances after making more than half a million dollars each season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

What’s Kim Zolciak’s net worth?

Kim’s net worth is $200,000, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Kroy is also worth $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Kim has struggled with her finances for years. In June 2025, Kim and Kroy’s daughter, Ariana Biermann, claimed that her parents took all the money she made from their reality show, Don’t Be Tardy, and her social media brand deals two years ago.

“I did reality television with my family and then I started posting on Instagram. I got my first brand deal when I was 14,” she said on an episode of her Bravo show Next Gen NYC. “I was doing like three posts a week and you get paid astronomical [sic] to do a story or to do an Instagram post and I made quite a bit of money. But, unfortunately, my parents took my money.”

Ariana told producers that she couldn’t “say exactly” what her parents used the money on but she “found out it was gone two years ago.” “I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period,” she said. “Nobody was honest, there was no transparency and I have no idea where it actually went.”

Ariana also confessed that Kim’s asking her for money has put a strain on her relationship with her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy. “Sometimes I don’t tell Hudson when she’s asking me for something because she’s going through this crazy divorce and living with four kids,” Ariana said. “I get it and I never want money to destroy the relationship with my family.”

In 2023, Kroy, who separated from Kim in 2023, claimed that Kim’s “gambling” problem was what “financially devastated” the family.

“[Kim has been] spending substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance,” Kroy claimed in court documents. “This compulsion has financially devastated the parties.” He also alleged that Kim’s “time is so consumed with online gambling” that she struggles to take care of their four minor children: Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane.

Kroy also attached scanned copies of bank statements and checks allegedly showing thousands of dollars in withdrawals as evidence of Kim’s gambling issue. In other court documents, Kroy also claimed that Kim has spent more than $600,000 on luxury stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Agent Provocateu, Chanel, and Versace between 2016 and 2023 amid their family’s financial woes. He also alleged that Kim spent almost $162,000 in 2021 and $66,000 in 2022 on Bitcoin investments and playing the lottery.

In April 2024, news broke that Kim and Kroy’s $4.5 million home in Atlanta was in danger of foreclosure after the couple’s bank lender, Truist, issued a warning to the reality TV stars. Kim and Kroy sold the home in February 2025 for $2.75 million, more than $3 million less than their original asking price. The home was on the market for a year and a half.
