Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Latest Absence Speaks Volumes About His Relationship With King Charles After Reports He’s ‘Stuck’ in the Past

The King’s unofficial birthday is always held in June 14, but one of his sons will be noticeably absent from the big event.

According to NewsNation, it’s confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t be making an appearance during Trooping the Colour. It makes sense because the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not working royals and haven’t lived in the UK since 2019.

For those confirmed to stand on the balcony, the Express, reported that it’s believed that Prince William, Princess Kate, and their three children will join Charles and Camilla on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the tradition. Charles will reportedly break Royal tradition by riding in a carriage rather than horseback.

However, Prince Harry recently pleaded with his family to reconcile. “Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has,” the Duke of Sussex said in an interview with the BBC about King Charles’ cancer diagnosis. “He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile.” He also added that his father should be open to reconciliation and help solve his security problem. “There is a lot of control and ability in my father’s hands,” he said. “Ultimately, this whole thing could be resolved through him.
