How Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Relationship Will Be ‘Completely Different’ During the NFL Season After Rumors They Secretly Married
Taylor Swift is taking it one step at a time during football season. The “Lover” singer plans to be at more Kansas City Chiefs games in the fall after her schedule is seemingly cleared up.
A source told People about the couple’s plans and how Taylor is going to be Travis’ personal cheerleader as he continues to be a tight end for the team. “Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season,” they said. “Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule.”
During the Eras Tour which took place between 2023 and 2024, Taylor was spotted at some of Travis’ games during her down time. “This fall will be completely different,” the insider says. “It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar. The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn’t easy but they made it work,” the source continues.
And how many games she’ll attend, you ask? “Taylor plans to be at as many of his games as possible,” the source dished. “They’ve both had such demanding schedules for so long, so having this stretch of time where things aren’t quite as chaotic feels like a welcome change.”
“It’s a chance for them to settle into more of a routine and they’re both really happy about that,” adds the source.
The upcoming plans come after the couple has been subject of marriage rumors after a wedding planner posted a mock invitation with the names Taylor & Travis Kelce. However, sources told E! News that the two are indeed not married, and the business owner was quick to squash the rumors. “We all know Taylor and Travis were at a different wedding in Tennessee,” the event planner Ellie Nottoli, who’s based in Chicago, said in an Instagram Story video. “But each guest had an envelope that was adhered to a beautiful backdrop, and Emily wrote love notes to all of her guests.”
However, marriage isn’t off the table just yet. An insider source said to Life & Style Magazine back in April 2024, “Travis is eager to speed up their relationship timeline. He wants to marry Taylor right away and start a family as soon as she’s ready. Travis has been so broody that he’s told Taylor he’s open to having kids before a wedding!”
The two have been laying low since the Eras tour ended and have been spending quality time together. A source told People that the couple is cherishing their time together after a busy year. ”They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” the insider said. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.”
